Help Khames Family Survive and Flea Gaza
United States
***This campaign is for the ongoing direct support of the Al Eryan family in central Gaza. The donations are collected and spent concurrently on the family’s survival needs and any extra is saved to pay travel fees when the crossing to evacuate re-opens. When their campaign summary says that they are “close to their goal” it is misleading because as long as the borders for travel are closed, the goal cannot be met.***
My name is Molly and I’m an American citizen helping raise money for my friend Khames Mahmoud Al Eryan and his family in Central Gaza.
This campaign has 2 main goals:
1. Raise funds to pay for day-to-day survival needs. 2. Save any extra money for travel fees when the Rafah crossing reopens.
Funds will be used for helping Khames’s immediate and extended family to provide food and water, clothing, medicine for his grandfather, and various essential provisions for living.
Money from each transfer will also be set aside as savings for an eventual evacuation of Khames’s immediate family (mother, father, himself, and his 2 brothers) through the Hala Travel Agency.
Due to the restrictions on Chuffed, it is necessary that someone outside of Palestine hosts the fundraiser and transfers the money via wire transfer between our banks, which I have done for this family’s previous GFM campaign and will continue to do with this campaign.
Here is a message from Khamis:
“We are grateful to everyone who has tried and will try to help us achieve our goal. I thank everyone who helped me even a little, as it increased my step towards safety and contributed to the completion of my goal, even with one dollar. The situation now is that my family has no money from what has been spent, and we still need your help. Peace be upon you, I am Khamis Mahmoud from Palestine, a refugee from Gaza City. My city is destroyed, and my father’s house is bombed, and we have nothing left. Dreams, memories, safety, and warmth have been destroyed in this great house that is destroyed in this war, which also destroyed our beautiful city and everyone around us. We have nothing left in this city; they stole everything from us and deprived us of our simplest rights. Now, my family and I are displaced in a tent from the date of 24/12/2023, this moment, and I suffer from a lot, a lot of suffering and difficulty living under these very harsh conditions, such as hunger, extermination, constant displacement, malnutrition, lack of funds, discomfort and reassurance, fear and stress, and the collapse of infrastructure and the spread of many infectious diseases that cause my family and me illness. Please ask you to open your hearts and help us, your donation, no matter how small it is, can make a huge difference in our lives, help us get security and stability once. Donate and share our story with your friends and family; every post, every donation brings us another step closer to safety. We are very grateful for your support, prayers, and generosity on behalf of my family. Thank you for your sympathy and kindness. Together we can make a difference; together we can save lives. With sincere gratitude, Khamis.”
